After the Digital Marketing Seminar in Beirut, Lebanon, Michael Leander talked to Mr. Maher G. Mezher, head of marketing with First National Bank. He was instrumental in achieving an exceptionally wide TV, radio and media coverage when he brought real marketing innovation to the banking industry.
Marketing and innovation. Positioning and bringing a human face to the bank. Those are the keywords describing the significant results Mr. Maher Mezher and First National Bank achieved when they launched two new banking products. Featured on more than 160 TV stations including CNN and BBC, the Fertility Loan and the Plastic Surgery Loan proved to bring a new face to the relatively new banking contender in Lebanon and beyond.

These thoughts; fertility loan and plastic surgery loan would not be accepted in the netherlands. But you have the same perspective and that’s not the product itself but its importance to people. War and stress and isolation cannot be solved by basic things alone or first; like food or work or the old economy.
This is what I wrote to Catarina about support of traditional farmers in African countries. Find the real needs and now that after a long bad period, things are changed; definitely. A disaster but also a cchance and as you did, tthe needs are changed. So beautifull and so understanding the market.
This is marketing.
So my respect for your ciourage and for the introduction about artism. You know, for me its just the other way around as I always told to my students and collagues and artists; Learn playing and be creative as an artist, in a functional way for better.
So a great video and those projects like microcredit.
It is in the line of my vision that the deadly attack to the hart of old economy and trade, the twin towers, makes it necessary and possible to innovate and develop new economy; I call it jungle-economy. Both personalities in this interview act in this jungle-characteristics.
